Where will I go for my health check?
We operate in over 500 locations across the whole of Ireland. As our health checks don’t take place in hospitals, we’re able to offer you great value without compromising on quality.  You’ll find all of our venues are easily accessible, have plenty of parking and offer a much more pleasant environment than most hospitals.

Are there age restrictions?
To ensure your results are accurate, our range of tests are only medically appropriate for people aged 18 to 79. We do have specialist packages available for those over 80 - please get in touch to enquire about these.

What happens on the day of my health check?
When you arrive to your venue, you’ll be welcomed by one of our experienced Health Assessment Specialists. Our Specialists have many years’ experience in both phlebotomy and customer service, so you can expect a professional, comfortable, private and friendly experience.

After signing in at the reception area, you will be invited into a private consulting room where your Specialist will begin your pain-free health check. You won’t be asked any embarrassing questions, and you’ll remain clothed throughout. Aside from a small blood sample, all of our tests are completely non-invasive so you can be rest assured that your tests will be painless and stress free. Take a look at our video which explains what will happen at your appointment.

How should I prepare for my health check?
You’ll receive full details of any special preparation instructions when you book your health check, but you can continue to eat and drink normally before your appointment. We also recommend you continue taking any prescribed medication, and ask that you drink plenty of water to stay well-hydrated.

How long will my appointment take?
We ask you to allow around 30 minutes for your health check. After your appointment, your readings and samples will be couriered to our laboratory in Sandyford for analysis by our team of medical experts. Once all your results are collated we’ll send your personalised health report to you by post within 28 days of your appointment.

What do I do if I need to rearrange or cancel my health check?
Bluecrest will always be happy to rearrange appointment dates and times in the event of unforeseen circumstances.  Just call a member of our team on freephone 1800 937 499.
